With only one physical USB connection, you can transfer 4 stereo audio channels to and from your PC, along with control data from the control section and the meter application.


Effortless VoIP integration:

The VoIP Channel (channel 8) comes with its own USB connector, allowing you to take calls from another PC effortlessly. Additionally, you can connect it to a second USB connector on your main PC for added convenience. With dedicated Talkback to the VoIP channel, engaging in conversations with callers has never been easier.


Enhanced communication:

The Cue bus doubles as a communication bus, enabling announcers to have discussions with callers while on-air. Simply press the two related CUE buttons, and you're ready to talk. Plus, with a clear signal on the Meter screen, you'll never miss a call again.


Optimal sound quality:

The Airlite MK2 Mixer also features a musical 3-band Equalizer on channels 1-3, ensuring optimal sound quality at all times. The stereo Aux send can be selected pre or post-fader, while high-quality, low-noise mic inputs come equipped with a built-in low-cut filter for added convenience.

MIC line

  1. Internal USB voice tracking bus:

    • The Airlite MK2 features an internal USB voice tracking bus that can be directly routed to a play-out system with voice tracking capabilities, streamlining your broadcasting workflow.

  2. Low-noise mic input with musical equalizer:

    • Enjoy pristine sound quality with the Airlite MK2's low-noise mic input, followed by a musical equalizer. This drives a smooth-running fader that controls a stereo VCA, ensuring precise control without any noisy faders.

  3. Electronically detected fader start:

    • Say goodbye to noisy faders! The Airlite MK2's fader start is electronically detected, guaranteeing seamless transitions between tracks and audio sources.

  4. Non-stop mode for continuous production:

    • The Airlite MK2 can be used for production while on-air by activating the NON-STOP mode. This mode automatically routes the first USB channel directly to the main outputs, ensuring uninterrupted broadcasting.

  5. Silence detection feature:

    • The Non-Stop switch also includes an internal silence detector. When silence is detected, it automatically routes the first USB channel to the main outputs, keeping your broadcast running smoothly at all times.

  6. CUE switch for communication:

    • The CUE switch doubles as a communication system, allowing easy interaction with callers outside the broadcast. The ON switch and fader also feature "fader start" capabilities for added convenience.



  1. USB channels:

    • Each Airlite MK2 USB Channel can accept a stereo source from a play-out system, providing seamless integration with your broadcasting setup.

  2. Input control:

    • Gain sets the input level, while Cue allows for pre-listening. The ON switch and fader can activate tracks, ensuring smooth transitions during your broadcast.

  3. Stereo line inputs:

    • The stereo line inputs are versatile, capable of accepting CD players and other external audio sources.

  4. CUE communication bus:

    • The CUE function doubles as a communication bus, allowing callers on the VoIP channel to listen to music and interact with the DJ without being on-air.

  5. USB stereo In- and outputs:

    • The Airlite MK2 Mixer features four USB stereo inputs and outputs. The inputs are internally routed to channels 4 to 7, with the USB input of channel four also routed to the Non-Stop switch.

  6. USB outputs:

    • The USB outputs, recognized as inputs on your PC, are connected to the Program output, Aux send, Voice track, and Air-In.

  7. Air-in input:

    • The Air-In input can be connected to your external processing unit, allowing you to stream your processed signal directly to the Internet without the need for an extra sound card.



  1. Seamless VoIP integration:

    • Connect the dedicated VoIP USB cable from the mixer to your PC and set up a connection, for example, with Skype, for effortless integration into your broadcasting setup.

  2. Dedicated controls for VoIP:

    • Enjoy precise control with separate Gain and VoIP send controls, allowing you to adjust send and return levels with ease.

  3. Streamlined call management:

    • Easily manage incoming calls with the Airlite MK2 Mixer. Incoming lines are visible on the screen and can be picked up using the blinking Conn button, pre-listened with the CUE switch, and seamlessly brought into your radio show with the ON switch and/or fader.

  4. Analog hybrid compatibility:

    • For those who prefer to use an analog Hybrid, the Airlite MK2 Mixer features an extra cleanfeed output. You can return the signal to the VoIP channel's line input, ensuring seamless integration with your preferred equipment.

  5. Built-in talkback functionality:

    • The Airlite MK2 Mixer comes equipped with an internal built-in Electret Talkback microphone. Simply activate the TB to VoIP switch in the master section to route the talkback microphone to the caller outside the broadcast.

  6. Flexible microphone ptions:

    • Use your DJ microphone with ease by activating the CUE switches in both the DJ channel and the Telco channel, giving you the flexibility you need to create professional-quality broadcasts.


Control section

  1. Function control with illuminated switches:

    • On the right side of the Airlite MK2 Mixer, you'll find 16 illuminated (green/red) switches. These switches can be programmed to control functions in your Radio Automation software, such as starting jingles or recording a voice track while on-air.

  2. Voice tracking mode:

    • Transitioning to voice tracking mode is effortless. Simply hold a CUE switch for 3 seconds, and the mixer seamlessly enters Voice Tracking Mode, making voice tracking a breeze.

  3. Customizable functionality:

    • Each switch can be assigned a function of your play-out software, allowing you to customize your setup to suit your specific needs.

  4. Master controls:

    • The master section of the Airlite MK2 Mixer features master controls for Announcer, Phones, and CRM (Customer Relationship Management).

  5. Auto cue functionality:

    • Activate the Auto Cue for CRM and Announcer, and any selected CUE can be heard. When the DJ mic opens, the CRM mutes automatically to prevent feedback.

  6. Convenient talkback access:

    • TALK BACK functionality to all important outputs is directly accessible on the right-hand side of the mixer, ensuring clear communication at all times.

  7. Non-stop mode for seamless roduction:

    • The NON-STOP switch instantly routes the first USB stereo signal (channel 4) to the main outputs, making the mixer available for (pre)production again with minimal interruption.

Powered by an external heavy-duty switched-mode power supply, the Airlite MK2 Mixer accepts AC voltages between 90 and 230 volts, ensuring reliable performance in any broadcasting environment.

Designed for seamless integration, the control surface of the Airlite MK2 can be easily mounted inside furniture as a drop-through unit, giving your broadcasting setup a sleek and professional look.

With all input and output connections conveniently made on standard Jack/Cinch and XLR connectors, setting up your Airlite MK2 Mixer is quick and hassle-free.

Plus, with a heavy-duty 5-pin locking XLR connector for the power supply input, you can rest assured that your mixer will stay powered up and ready to go, no matter what.

The Airlite MK2 modules are designed to be tailored to your specific needs, giving you ultimate control over your broadcasting setup. With the intuitive software program pages provided below or in the manual, you can easily customize each module to suit your preferences.

Each of the 8 modules features its own page where you can program Cue reset enabled by line, mic, fader, and ON, among other options. You can even decide whether you want 10dB fader gain or not.

With the Airlite MK2 Mixer, you have complete control over your broadcasting setup.

Both ON-AIR busses 1 and 2 can be enabled by line or mic, and you can program your own switch colors, activate CRM mutes per module, and even decide whether you want phantom power on or off individually for each channel.

The Airlite MK2 Mixer also features GPIO functions with the following states:

  • Continuously

  • Pulse by ON

  • Pulse by OFF

  • Pulse by ON/OFF​


And that's not all - all settings can be stored (write) and loaded (read), giving you complete flexibility and control over your broadcasting setup. 


digital output option (AES)

The Airlite MK2 Mixer offers an optional digital output - the master AES/EBU XLR - for those looking to go fully digital to the transmitter or other broadcast devices connected to the mixer.

Please note: The AES/EBU connector will always be mounted, even if the digital card is not installed inside your mixer. Don't be surprised if the output is not working if you haven't purchased or installed this digital option.

Adding this option is easy. Simply mention it before your purchase at one of our dealers, or purchase the printed board later from our webshop.

The setup printed board is easy to assemble at the backplane board on the inside of the unit, ensuring a seamless transition to digital broadcasting.

metering software

The Airlite MK2 sends out control signals over USB, utilizing the HID protocol to ensure seamless integration with your broadcasting setup. With this capability, the main output signals can be displayed on a TFT screen in a beautiful meter application.

Program and CRM stereo signals are shown on a high-resolution PPM (Peak Program Meter), providing you with accurate and detailed feedback on your broadcast levels.

On the right side of the TFT screen, you'll find status indicators for various console functions, including ON-AIR 1 or 2, Non-Stop mode, Silence detection, Mic-On, CRM mute, and incoming calls.

Additionally, channel status and input selection are displayed at the bottom of the TFT screen.

A software program is included in the delivery for programming the Control section. The Airlite MK2 Virtual Keyboard Mapper allows for easy configuration of the control section and internal mixer settings.
